  • White Tower of Thessaloniki: Erected in the 15th century following Thessaloniki's Ottoman conquest in 1430, the White Tower stands as an iconic landmark.   • Rotunda: Built in 306 A.D. by the romans, Rotunda is one of the oldest religious sites of the city.
  • Arch of Galerius: South of the Rotunda was the triumphal arch was a type of monument of Roman architecture. Probably built by the city of Thessaloniki between 298 and 305 A.D. to commemorate Galerius’ victorious campaign against the Persians.
  • Church of Panagia Acheiropoietos: The church of Panagia Acheiropoietos it is the most important example of old Christian basilica in Greece, and one of the most magnificent early Christian monuments (UNESCO World Heritage List).
  • Church of Saint Dimitrios:  the patron saint of Thessaloniki, is honored at the city's largest church, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Built on the presumed site of his martyrdom in 306, the Church of Saint Dimitrios features a remarkable underground Crypt, rediscovered after the 1917 fire. Restored in 1988, the Crypt, according to Christian tradition, is where the saint was imprisoned and passed away in 303 A.D. This underground space now stands as a compelling museum showcasing the historical and spiritual legacy of Saint Demetrius.

Cancelation Policy

  • To confirm a booking, a 30% payment in advance is required, which is fully refundable in case of written cancellation received at least 4 days prior to the arrival date.
  • For any cancellation or change within 3 days prior to the first day of arrival and/or no-shows, full cancellation fees will apply, which will be the total cost of the program.
  • A written notification of any cancellation or change is necessary and should be sent to PRIVATE TOURS Greece.
