Location

Day 1: Arrival in Athens:

  • Upon your arrival at Athens airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by our team and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, take some time to relax and settle in. Depending on your arrival time, you might have the opportunity to start exploring the vibrant city of Athens, with its rich history and fascinating culture. Overnight stay in Athens.

Day 2: Athens - Mycenae - Epidaurus - Nafplio - Olympia:

  • After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey along the coastal road towards the Corinth Canal. Pause for a photo stop at this engineering marvel before continuing to Epidaurus. Here, marvel at the well-preserved Sanctuary of Asklepios and the ancient Theater of Epidaurus, renowned for its exceptional acoustics. Next, proceed to Nafplio, Greece's first capital, where you'll wander through the charming Old Town. The tour then takes you to Mycenae, an ancient archaeological site steeped in myth and history, including the Acropolis and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Finally, journey to Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, where you'll dine and spend the night.

Day 3: Ancient Olympia - Delphi:

Day 4: Delphi - Meteora:

  • Start your day with a visit to Delphi's archaeological site, including the Oracle, Stadium, and Ancient Theatre. Explore the Museum of Delphi, home to iconic masterpieces such as the ''Charioteer'' statue. Departing Delphi, journey to Kalambaka, a quaint town nestled at the foot of the towering rock formations known as Meteora. These natural wonders are adorned with monasteries dating back to the Byzantine era. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in Meteora.

Day 5: Meteora - Athens:

  • Discover the awe-inspiring Byzantine Monasteries of Meteora, perched atop towering rock pillars. Visit two of these remarkable monasteries and marvel at their architectural splendor and panoramic views. Afterward, journey back to Athens, passing through historic sites such as Trikala, Lamia, and Thermopylae. Pause at the statue of King Leonidas, a tribute to the famous Battle of Thermopylae. Overnight stay in Athens.

Day 6: Guided Group Tour Athens:

  • Embark on a comprehensive tour of Athens, starting with a bus tour of the city's highlights. Admire landmarks such as the Parliament, University, and Panathenaic Stadium, the site of the first modern Olympic Games. Continue on foot to explore the iconic Acropolis, crowned by the majestic Parthenon, and visit the acclaimed New Acropolis Museum. Spend the night in Athens.

Day  7: Athens - Flight to Zakynthos

In the morning, our driver will pick you from your hotel and transfer you to Athens International Airport to get on your morning flight to Zakynthos Island. Enjoy the rest of the day free at leisure. You can explore the town of Zakynthos, to walk at the narrow streets or to relax next to the swimming pool. Overnight in Zakynthos.

Day 8:  Day Cruise Around Zakynthos

  • After breakfast, our local bus driver will transfer you to Zakynthos Marina for an unforgettable boat cruise. Departing at 09:00 and returning around 17:00, the cruise begins with visits to the stunning Blue Caves and famous Shipwreck Beach (subject to updates if the beach will be opened). Enjoy 1.5 hours swimming in the crystalline waters. Capture photos at Porto Vromi and explore Agalas and Keri Caves. Take a snapshot at Turtle Island and perhaps swim with the turtles. Weather permitting, relish a substantial swim break at a scenic beach. Please note that the itinerary may adjust based on conditions. Return to the marina by 17:00 for transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Zakynthos.

Day 9: Zakynthos - Flight to Athens

  • After breakfast, transfer to Zakynthos Airport for your flight to Athens. Check-in and board your flight for a convenient journey back to the capital. Upon arrival in Athens, you will be transfed to your hotel. Overnight in Athens

Day 10: Departure Day from Athens:

  • We will transfer you to Zakynthos airport, to get on your international flight (via Athens) according to your flight details. Our Services ends.

  • We provide you Air-conditioned Buses first class, from 18 seats to 56 seats, depends on the participants of the group.
  • The bus pick you up from your hotel in Athens or Airbnb downtown of Athens or from the closer point of your hotel, in walking distances
  • If you will arrival at Athens airport or Piraeus, our representative will be waiting there holding a sign with your name written on it, helps you with your baggage, and accompany you at your car, provide you mineral water & Tissues. 
  • At the Islands, our local driver will be waiting at the port or airport in each island, holding a sign with your name written on it, in order to meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Cancellation Policy

  • In order to confirm any booking, 30% payment in advance is required, fully refundable in case of any written cancellation received 40 days prior the arrival date.
  • For any cancellation OR change between 39 days to 20 days prior the first day of arrival, cancellation fees equal to 50% of the total cost of program applies.
  • For any cancellation OR change within 19 days prior the first day of arrival and/or non shows, full cancellation fees applies – the total cost of the program.
  • A written notification of any cancellation or change is necessary to be sent to PRIVATE TOURS Greece.
