The local driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Fira to start your hiking tour. In Fira you will meet with the leader and you will start your excellent hiking tour from the capital city of Santorini, Fira walking at the edge of the caldera.
First village to visit is Firostefani. Very close to Fira well known for its view and the architecture
Continue walking to reach af Imerovigli, a peaceful village excellent for romantic escapes
And last but not least finish this excellent hiking tour in Oia with the beautiful cave houses and the blue domed churches
The greater part of the path is on the rim of the Caldera. Following this path affords a gorgeous view to the famous volcano and the Aegean Sea and also allows visitors to see the four most important villages of the island.
Estimated time: 3 hours (hiking time). The total time can reach 4 hours with some brakes in between (to take pictures, enjoy some snacks). The ideal to leave Fira at about 7:45 am and in this way you will arrive in Oia before midday.
