DAY 1: PRIVATE TOUR ARGOLIS (MYCENAE, EPIDAURUS, NAFPLIO):

  • Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and we will make a short stop at the breathtaking Canal of Corinth with the amazing view of the 6 km length and 80m height. Next stop will be at the Ancient Mycenae, the center of Greek civilization, home to the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon. Visit the Cyclopean Walls, the famous Lion’s Gate and the ‘’Atreus King Tomb’’! Then we will visit Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus of the 15.000 spectators and the breathtaking acoustics and then, the most relaxing part of the tour is upon our arrival at the one of the most beautiful towns of Greece, the seaside town of Nafplio. Stroll at narrow streets full of old mansion and enjoy your lunch next to the sea. Leave from Nafplio to Olympia. Overnight Olympia

DAY 2: ANCIENT OLYMPIA – PARGA - SYVOTA:

  • Our driver will meet you at your hotel, to visit Ancient Olympia grew to be the most celebrated sacred site of Ancient Greece, and the birthplace of the Olympic Games, the most important sports events in all antiquity: starting from 776 B.C., all Greeks – across the then known world – would be united every four years and all hostilities would be suspended so that everyone could take part in these games in the true spirit of sportsmanship.  Walk around the site and admire the Temple of Zeus, once housing the gold and ivory statue of the god, considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Temple of Hera, the sradium etc. On completing the visit you will find your selfat at the archaeological museum housing art masterpieces such as the Hermes of Praxiteles and the Nike (Victory) of Paionios as well as finds from the excavations in the sacred precinct of the Altis dating from prehistoric times to the Early Christian period. Afterwards, we will drive towards Syvota. Overnight at Syvota

DAY 3: SYVOTA:

  • CRUISE TRIP PAXOS & ANTIPAXOS: A beautiful day out to the islands of Paxos and Antipaxos.  According to Greek mythology these islands were created by Poseidon, God of the Sea, by striking the southern most tip of Corfu with his trident.  We leave Parga a 10:00hrs and arrive first at Antipaxos.  Here you will have time to do some snorkeling and swimming in the crystal clear waters.  We then continue our journey to the Blue Caves before arriving at the island of Paxos and the largest village called Gaios.  You will have free time to explore the village with its many craft shops and have lunch in the excellent fish tavernas. Arrive back in Parga at 17:30 hrs.

  • PRIVATE LAND TOUR AT THE MOST HIGHLIGHTS: Our first visit is to Necromantion 'Oracle of the dead' which was the first oracle to be known in history.  It was built at the gates of Hades and was created on the ancient Greek belief that the souls of the dead could see into the future. We will also visit the site of Zalogo, a well known site of self sacrifice. This is where 63 women of Souli, holding their babies and children, danced of the cliff to their deaths rather than surrender to the Turks.  Here you climb the 410 steps to the impressive monument which was built as a tribute to these brave women. Our final visit of the day is to the inland village of Gliki and one of the most beautiful landscapes in Epirus, the River Acheron, believed to be the ancient river Styx.  In mythology the water was supposed to have magical powers, Achilles mother bathed him in the waters of the river Acheron as a baby.  His heel was the part the waters didn't touch thus making it his only vulnerable spot. Overnight in at Syvota

DAY 4: SYVOTA – CORFU:

  • Today we leave Syvota. We continue our trip to reach at the port of Igoumenitsa to get the ferry boat to reach at Corfu. Check in at the hotel and then free time to explore the town of Corfu. The Old Town of Corfu is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a labyrinth of narrow streets paved with cobblestones and packed with tourist shops. The old town of Corfu is built under the Venetian style that is why one of the most beautiful is and elegant towns in Greece. The narrow streets between the houses, the numerous churches around every corner and the well know Liston, will amaze you and complete your tour! Overnight in Corfu

DAY 5: CORFU ISLAND:

  • PRIVATE TOUR AT THE MOST HIGHLIGHTS: We will visit the Mon Repos Palace, a neoclassical building, built in 1830 offering spectacular sea view. We will visit Kanoni, the church of Panagia Vlacherna, Mouse Island.  We will continue our private tour to Achilleion Palace located in the picturesque village of Gastouri, built in 1890 by Empress Elizabeth (Sissy) of Austria. Next stop will be at the famous Paleokastritsa bay, well known as the Capri of Greece. Finally, we will reach at the traditional village of Lakones, called God’s Balcony due to its panoramic view to Paleokastritsa Bay and the surrounding hills. We will continue our tour passing through some of the most picturesque traditional villages to return at the town of Corfu. Overnight in Corfu.

DAY 6: CORFU ISLAND – METSOVO - METEORA:

  • After your breakfast we will have a visit at the Old Venetian Fortress in Corfu that built 15th century and it is a very imposing stronghold, and great panoramic views, the fortress built to protect the town from enemies. Remains one of the most interesting tourist attractions of Corfu and must-see to visit. From the Old Fortress your tour continues foot to reach at the famous Spianada square, a copy of Rue de Rivoli of Paris. it said that is the second largest square in Europe. The entrance is arched and has a Venetian symbol above it, carved in marble. Before reach Meteora, we wuill have a stop at the traditional area of Metsovo. Metsovo, is a traditional mountain town full of stone houses and customs is a popular winter holiday destination. It is full of life throughout the year generously offering you its natural surrounding beauties. Metsovo practically looks like a painting. Overnight Meteora

DAY 7: METEORA - DELPHI:

  • Meet your driver at your hotel to visit the BYZANTINE MONASTERIES  of Meteora that are included on the UNESCO world heritage monument list. Meteora means “suspended in the air”  because of the formation of the gigantic rocks on top of which was built. Here you will visit one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries. You will admire the Monasteries (Great Meteoro, Varlaam, S. Stephan, Rousanou, depend the day etc) that are in operation today and receive many pilgrims. Most of them were founded in the 14th century. Leave Meteora to reach Delphi. Overnight Delphi

DAY 8: DELPHI – ATHENS

We will visit Castalia Spring, the Oracle of Apollo, the temple of Athena Pronaia. Cancellation Policy

  • In order to confirm any booking, 30% payment in advance is required, fully refundable in case of any written cancellation received 40 days prior the arrival date.
  • For any cancellation OR change between 39 days to 20 days prior the first day of arrival, cancellation fees equal to 50% of the total cost of program applies.
  • For any cancellation OR change within 19 days prior the first day of arrival and/or non shows, full cancellation fees applies – the total cost of the program.
  • A written notification of any cancellation or change is necessary to be sent to PRIVATE TOURS Greece.
