Small Group Boat Cruise from Adamas - The Best of Milos in One Day

This full-day catamaran cruise covers ground that most visitors to Milos never reach. Starting from Adamas at 09:00, we follow the coastline past the syrmata fishing villages, through the sea caves of Kleftiko, along the wild beach of Gerakas with its natural thermal springs, past the ruins of the abandoned Sulphur Mines, and out to the Galazia Nera lagoon in Poliegos - one of the most unspoiled stretches of water in the entire Aegean. The return journey passes the islands of Kimolos and Agios Eustathios before docking at Pollonia at around 19:00.

There are multiple swim stops, a freshly prepared lunch served on board, and a crew that has navigated these waters long enough to know exactly where to anchor and when. The catamaran carries up to 24 guests - large enough to feel like a shared adventure, small enough that you will always find your spot on deck.

If you have one full day to spend on the water in Milos, this is how to spend it.

Pick Up for your Small Group Cruise in Milos

    • The meeting point is at our office at Adamas port, at about 08.45 from where we will start at 09:00am. Sailing across the coastline, leaving behind us Milos Bay, we will pass by the traditional fishing villages of Skinopi, Klima, Areti and Fourkovouni with the colourful little houses - called "Sirmata"- built by the sea side.

Visit Arkoudes, Cape Vani and Sikia

    • Then, we will visit Arkoudes, a complex of lava rocks, which takes its name by its characteristic shape, a bear. Opening the sails, we are heading to the impressive Cape Vani and our first stop for swimming, the natural bay of Kalogries, ideal for diving from the catamaran in its transparent waters. Follows the stunning cave of Sikia, where we will enjoy the view and you will be able to see the characteristic hole in its roof as well as the entrance of the cave.

Explore the Famous Pirate Bay of Kleftiko

    • Our next stop for swimming will be the famous old pirates bay of Kleftiko with its numerous caves, its white rocks and transparent waters! Our crew will guide you to the best caves to swim and snorkel to. You will discover a wonder of colours and rock formations underwater. A well-deserved lunch will be served after your swim, cooked by our crew on board and full of amazing surprises ! Continuing our adventures, will follow the majestic and inaccessible beach of Gerakas and its hot springs. Finally, we will pass by the abandoned Sulphur Mines and sail towards our last swim: the amazing bay of Galazia Nera, in Poliegos ! There, the geological formations created a perfect setting for a lagoon, where the waters are extra transparent and even bluer than in any other place around Milos.

    Return From The Cruise

    • Coming back on board, we will take the direction of our disembarkation point in Pollonia, passing by the islands of Kimolos and Agios Eustathios. Disembarkation will be at the dock at Pollonia at around 19:00, where a van will be waiting for you to take you back to Adamas.
