Location
- Our local driver will pick you up from your hotel in Chania or from your cruise ship at 08.30 and transfer you at Kissamos port to to get the local boat departing 10.40.
- Granvousa the island of pirates: You will sail for approximately one hour and a half, and on your way to Gramvousa you will see a large cave that used to be a shipyard. If lucky, you may also get the chance to see sea turtle Caretta-Caretta or the Mediterranean seal Monachus-monachus when in the sea. Where you will stay for almost 2 hours so that to have the chance to feel the magic aura of the historical island which is famous for its myths. You should visit the beach with the famous shipwreck and the Venetian Castle of Gramvousa to admire the panoramic view.
- Lagoon of Balos: Balos is listed as one of the best beaches in the world. This exotic beach-lagoon and rare natural monument is situated between the Gramvousa peninsula and Cape Tigani. Words cannot describe the impressiveness of this place. Nothing can describe what you are about to feel when you see this. When you get to swim in the lukewarm, shallow, turquoise blue waters, relax in the pink sandy beach, which is filled with shells, and admire the natural beauty, the rocks and the cliffs rising above you! Stay here 3 hours before sail back to Kissamos port where our local driver will wait to transfer you at your hotel.
