Pick up from your hotel
- We start the trip picking you up from one of our set pick-up points and driving to the port of Agios Sostis, wherefrom our boat starts. And off we go! A lovely trip to the south of the island, where our fancy inhabitants, Caretta-Caretta, hang around!
Visit Keri Caves
- The only official resident of the island is the Caretta Caretta turtle and the island as well as the whole bay of Laganas is protected by the National Marine Park of Zakynthos. It has the shape of a turtle from whichever side you look at it. We will reach there by boat on an organized excursion. You will make a stop in the caves of Keri. During your sea route you will discover caves, small beaches, rock formations that emerge from the sea. We head straight for the south-west of Zakynthos, to the famous Caves of Keri, some of the islands nicest caves, surrounded by stunning crystal-blue waters. We stay there 20 min. for swimming in this stunning complex of caves.
Turtle-island Marathonissi
- Our next stop is another swimming-stop for 50’ minutes on the front sandy beach of the Turtle-island Marathonissi, the beautiful exotic island in the middle of the bay. This island not only looks like a turtle, it’s also where the famous Caretta-Caretta mainly builds its nests! And its front white-sanded beach is simply fascinating… Arriving in Marathonisi you will enjoy nature! Trees and vegetation grow in the most incredible place!
Gulf of Laganas exploration
- Then- hold on!- we sail through the gulf of Laganas for 1 hour to spot turtles, Carreta-Carreta, for you! We guarantee that you will get the opportunity to see these lovely creatures and take once-in-a-lifetime photos of them! After admiring the carefree Caretta-Caretta through our glass bottom or directly outside, we return to the port, where from our buses take you back to your resorts.
