Location
Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by chef and owner, with a shot of raki (local distillate out of grapes) and phylo pastry homemade pies. Then, a short introduction is given on the influences of Greek cuisine, customs and nutritional habits of Greek people while the attendees wear aprons (the very first of many home cooking tips to come) and take their seats around a rustic working bench set to accommodate all that’s necessary.
All due respect to tradition, the chef will guide you step by step in the use of Greek herbs, spices and a variety of local goodies in order to prepare a lunch of at least 5 starters and 1 main course all by yourselves. With the memories of her beloved grandma, a traditional cook, always at heart, she follows the family recipes while bringing her own twist and tips she’s learned over the years in to the table.
Under her instruction and assistance you’ll learn how to knead pies, roll and fold grape leaves stuffed with rice and make cold dips such as tzatziki, eggplant salad and spicy cheese salad. Moreover, the chef will share how to prepare one of Greek favorite specialties: Lamb in the hull.

Each participant will receive a copy of the recipes and will be able to enjoy a rich meal consisting of the dishes made during class plus extra ones representative of Greek cuisine. Of course, lots of house wine is in order!
