DAY 1: Meet and Greet at Athens airport
- Our driver will be waiting at Athens holding a sign with your name written on it, in order to meet you and transfer you at your hotel in Athens. Overnight in Athens.
Day 2: Walking Tour Acropolis & Food Tour
- Begin your experience at the Acropolis, exploring the Parthenon, the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, and the Erechtheion with its famous Caryatids. Your guide brings ancient Athens to life as you uncover the myths, architecture, and stories behind this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then head to Monastiraki for a delicious tasting walk, enjoying warm honey-soaked loukoumades and the city’s best freshly grilled souvlaki. Finish at a traditional kafeneio, sipping authentic Greek coffee in one of Athens’ most historic neighborhoods. Overnight in Athens.
Day 3: Athens - Mycenae - Epidaurus - Nafplio - Olympia:
- Meet your private driver at your hotel to start your amazing tour. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ancient Epidaurus and take in the breathtaking view of the famous Canal of Corinth. Explore the beautiful town of Nafplio and discover its iconic Venetian fortress and Bourtzi islet. After a delicious lunch or coffee, journey to the ancient town of Mycenae and marvel at the Lion Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, the Palace, and the tomb of Agamemnon. End your day at the birthplace of the Olympic Games, Ancient Olympia, and rest in comfort with an overnight stay.
Day 4: Ancient Olympia - Honey Farm and Olive Oil Tasting- Zakynthos:
- Admire the birthplace of the Olympic Games with a visit to Ancient Olympia, where history comes alive from 776 B.C. Marvel at the gold and ivory statue of Zeus, explore the Council House where athletes took the Olympic oath, and visit the Treasury houses, Gymnasium, and Palestra. Walk through the ancient stadium, where the marble starting blocks still remain, and experience the vibrant local flea market with a tasting of Greek olive oil, wine, and olives. Continue to a local honey farm to enjoy coffee or juice under the shade of the trees, paired with hand-made desserts crafted from honey produced for generations. After this immersive cultural and culinary experience, head to Kyllini Port for a ferry to Zakynthos. Day 5: Zakynthos - Cruise around the Island:
- Embark on an exciting day cruise around Zakynthos Island, starting with a transfer from your hotel to Zakynthos Marina to board a local boat. Departing at 09:00, the cruise takes you on a tour of the island's top attractions, starting with a visit to the famous Blue Caves and the iconic Shipwreck. Here, you'll have 1.5 hours to enjoy a swim and take in the breathtaking views. The boat will then make a stop at Porto Vromi for a photo opportunity next to the Agalas Caves and the Keri Caves, followed by a big photo stop at Turtle Island, where you'll get a chance to see the friendly turtles that swim in the gulf of Laganas and Kalamaki. Next, the boat will anchor for about an hour in the area of St Nickolas, Vasilikos, for another swim stop. Throughout the cruise, you'll be amazed by the crystal-clear waters and stunning landscapes of Zakynthos. Overnight in Zakynthos.
Day 6: Zakynthos to Delphi – Ancient Sites, Scenic Views
- After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Zakynthos, we’ll take the ferry from Zakynthos port early in the morning, arriving in Kyllini after a one-hour journey. From there, we’ll continue our tour to Delphi, crossing the impressive Rion-Antirion Bridge, one of the largest in Europe, before reaching the beautiful seaside town of Naupactus. Here, you can take a short break to enjoy a coffee while admiring the Venetian castle and picturesque port. Next, we arrive at Delphi, where we’ll explore the Ancient Oracle, the stadium, the Ancient Theatre—which could seat more than 5,000 spectators—and the Delphi Museum, home to the famous bronze statue, the Charioteer. Cancelation Policy
- In order to confirm any booking, 30% payment in advance is required, fully refundable in case of any written cancellation received 50 days prior the arrival date.
- For any cancellation OR change between 49 days to 30 days prior the first day of arrival, cancellation fees equal to 500% of the payment in avance applies.
- For any cancellation OR change within 29 days prior the first day of arrival and/or non shows, full cancellation fees applies – the total cost of the program.
- A written notification of any cancellation or change is necessary to be sent to PRIVATE TOURS Greece.
