Beyond a doubt, the best tour we’ve ever been on! It was exciting, informative, fun, active and our guide, Mr. Panos, was the best part of our whole vacation!
He made sure we had everything we needed, explained everything in great detail, showed us hidden gems that you will NEVER experience on your own and took us to the BEST restaurants in all of Greece! We only wish we could take him home with us! I can’t recommend this tour enough!
I posted pictures from our trip and had so many people tell us that we experienced more in five days than they had experienced in their life of living in Greece! My one caution….this is a very athletic tour so be prepared for lots of climbing (if you choose) to see the best spots (like Meteora, Mycanea and Delphi)!!! But so worth every step climbed!!!!! And good to counteract all the food we ate!!

Our kids were going to Greece so I decided to put together a tour for some of the parents. Private Tours Greece and Effie were AMAZING. They were able to take our sketch of an itinerary and turn it into a complete Greece tour package. They made suggestions to avoid crowds and get us to our destinations faster. We communicated by email and when we were in Greece, I was able to get a hold of them with a quick phone call.
This was the most convenient and easy tour I have ever been on. When we landed in Athens our driver was waiting for us and took us to the Moxy Hotel where we setup base camp for 4 days and did day trips from there.

Theo was awesome - extremely accommodating the entire day. A few glitches along the way were nobody's fault and not within his or the company's control (they graciously reduced our trip price afterward as a result, very considerate to do so). Despite everything, it was still a great day - We'd definitely book them again for this or another excursion.

The four of us had an unforgettable experience. We were particularly impressed with our driver Spyros, whose exceptional driving skills made us feel safe when navigating through busy streets and or tackling challenging terrains - of which there were many! Spyros remained composed - instilling confidence in us that our safety was of the utmost importance. During our tour Spyros, went above and beyond to provide us with a memorable and trouble free experience. The flexibility he provided when discussing the planned route for the day - taking into account the interests of our group made the tour that more personal and relevant.
