Our kids were going to Greece so I decided to put together a tour for some of the parents. Private Tours Greece and Effie were AMAZING. They were able to take our sketch of an itinerary and turn it into a complete Greece tour package. They made suggestions to avoid crowds and get us to our destinations faster.
We communicated by email and when we were in Greece, I was able to get a hold of them with a quick phone call.
This was the most convenient and easy tour I have ever been on. When we landed in Athens our driver was waiting for us and took us to the Moxy Hotel where we setup base camp for 4 days and did day trips from there.

We had a wonderful 5-day trip to the Peloponnese; Nafplio, Delphi, Corinth, Olympia and Dimitsana and several monasteries. We were very grateful to our driver, George, for his safe driving and excellent recommendations for places to eat. We felt the price of the tour was very reasonable. The scenery and the ruins were fantastic. The breakfast in the Dias Hotel in Nafplio was amazing - lots of home made goodies. It was a great trip thanks to George and PrivateToursGreece.

Beyond a doubt, the best tour we’ve ever been on! It was exciting, informative, fun, active and our guide, Mr. Panos, was the best part of our whole vacation!
He made sure we had everything we needed, explained everything in great detail, showed us hidden gems that you will NEVER experience on your own and took us to the BEST restaurants in all of Greece! We only wish we could take him home with us! I can’t recommend this tour enough!
I posted pictures from our trip and had so many people tell us that we experienced more in five days than they had experienced in their life of living in Greece! My one caution….this is a very athletic tour so be prepared for lots of climbing (if you choose) to see the best spots (like Meteora, Mycanea and Delphi)!!! But so worth every step climbed!!!!! And good to counteract all the food we ate!!
