Mystras

Visit the byzantine town of Mystras and you will automatically understand why this location stands so unique within the Greek sites. Mystras is one of the cities that preserves not only medieval churches but also ordinary houses, mansions and palaces of the Byzantine Empire. You will visit the Cathedral of Saint Dimitrios, the Palace of the Despots, which is a great example of Byzantine architecture, and the impressive Monasteries of Our Lady Pantánassa, and of Οur Lady Perivleptos.
