Half Day Christian Tour to Corinth

We went on the half-day tour to Corinth because a group tour was not available on the day we wanted to go. The price was essentially the same for 1 to 3 people. At 9 am, we were picked up at our hotel and were comfortably driven to Corinth in a nice Mercedes. We first made a brief stop at the Canal, and then went onto the site of Ancient Corinth. Once we arrived, we were on our own to visit the site because we did not hire a guide. After we visited Ancient Corinth, we asked the driver if we can go to Acrocorinth up on the hill. Although it was not in the itinerary, the driver gladly complied. The view from the hill was breathtaking. After that, we made a brief stop at St. Paul's church to see the mosaic, and then taken back to our hotel at around 2 pm. Throughout the tour, the driver was courteous and professional, and everything was good. Although this private tour is a bit more costlier than a group tour, I would recommend it to a couple or a group of 3 people, because of the flexibility.

Amazing Tour of Athens!

We were in Athens for a couple of days so we wanted to do something that would let us see the highlights of the city. We chose the Christian Tour of Athens and Corinth with a private tour guide, but because it was so last minute we had a tour leader instead. However, our tour leader exceeded our expectations and we had an amazing day! If you want to see Athens, going on a tour with this company is a great choice.

 Amazing Days (Private Customized Christian Tour)

We just returned from an 10 day customized Christian tour of Greece where we followed the footsteps of St. Paul. We had organized this tour for a group of young adults.

While in Greece, we visited Athens, Corinth, Delphi, Thessaloniki, Nea Fokea, Phillippi, Verea, Meteora. We also took a 3 day cruise and visited Mykonos, Kusadesi (Turkey), Patmos, Crete, and Santorini.

There are so many great things to say about Private Tours Greece, but I will try to keep it short:

1. Our Experience with Mrs. Dmitria (the Private Tours Greece representative who organized the trip for us):
We communicated back and forth for many months with Mrs. Dmitria to create this customized trip. Throughout all the communications, Mrs. Dmitria was very patient and flexible. She worked with us to make many changes to the itinerary until it was something that met our group's needs in terms of budget and covering the places we wanted to see. When we realized that we were not able to afford visiting the islands through a private tour, Mrs. Dmitria recommended a regular cruise for us, and she also booked us this cruise. Her recommendation for the cruise was excellent. In addition, the tour guides she booked for us were also great.

2. Our fantastic bus driver, Vassillis:
Vassillis is a pretty amazing person. Vassillis was not only our driver, but he was also the person who took very good care of us the entire time we were with him. His driving skills are great, as he was able to drive us safely for long hours and far distances, even when we got a little noisy on the bus. Vassillis also has the patience of Job (a skill I need to learn from Vassillis) not only for waiting for us, but also for putting up with our endless questions for him. When we asked him to take us to authentic Greek restaurants, he took us to restaurants where the staff treated us with great hospitality.
Perhaps the most striking part was when one of our youth was very ill on the bus, and he kept driving around to find a washroom for her (although we were already running late). When he could not find any place for her to use a washroom, he stopped at a "cafe" only for men (women are not allowed inside). Vassillis got off the bus, bought a coffee to convince the staff inside to let us use the washroom, and then he stayed inside the "cafe" until we were finished and the youth was feeling better.

I guess what impressed me the most about this company is that whether I was dealing with Dmitria or with Vassillis, it was very clear that these people REALLY cared about us, and about our young adults. They sincerely wanted us to enjoy every minute of the trip, and they consistently went over and above to help us enjoy everything.

Thank you very much Dmitria and Vassillis for everything! I think we all fell in love with Greece because of you!

7 Days Christian Tour with Patmos island (Footsteps of Paul) and 3 Days Greek Islands

We really enjoyed very much the "7 Days Christian Tour with Patmos Island". Our driver for five days, Nikos Nakos, was very nice and he was always ready to please us in any request that we had, for example where and when we want to stop to eat or any other concerns that we had. He was just outstanding, I really missed him after he let us go to take the boat to Patmos Island.
The other guides all were very good, specially the lady in Filippoi, and Antoni Dimas in Patmos Island. The 3 Days Tours in Greek Island were also good, the Volcano and Hot Springs in Santorini, is for young persons
I love Greece , I enjoyed the tours, the food and the olive oil. We are very glad with Private Tours Greece and their service and we highly recommend them without any hesitation.

Family Holiday - Christian Tour

My family had a great tour with Private Tours Greece. It was very easy to arrange for a Customised itinerary with this tour agency. 7 Days Customized Footsteps of St. Paul

Thanks to all staff at Private Tours Greece in helping us and being very patience in adjusting our requests so many times from the beginning to the end. Everything was very smooth from the airport pick up to drop off. We highly rate the tour packages for Christian Tour in Greece based on the Footsteps of Paul. We did this tour in the end of August 2017 with 20 people. We had a driver, Thodoris Ochtaras who were fantastic in driving and a tour guide, Averkios Vassalos, an Archaeologist, with an immersed knowledge of Archaeology at each site we visitied. We were very please with Averkios for his knowledge of Archaeology, Christian history, Greek history, Geography, and kind nature. He went above and beyond what was needed to make our trip the best trip ever! Literally the best ever as I am an experience traveller and have travelled to more than 20 countries but I have not met anybody like Averkios who is very knowledgeable, organised,observant, flexible and paid attention to every single one of us.

Overall, we highly recommend this tour company!

An incredible & perfect private tour - The best company, and the best driver!

Ours was a family trip to Greece (myself and my 2 children, both young adults). We spent 11 incredible days last winter (February 2020) and from the first e-mail I exchanged with Dimitra, everything went perfect. Since the understanding of our deep interest in Ancient Greece and its historical sites, to the hotels and suggestions for the travel : Athens, Olympia, Delphi, Arachova, Nafplio, Meteora, Thessaloniki, Corinth..and a lot more. But a special chapter of this recommendation should go to our incredible, expert and funny driver Yannis : nothing would have been the same without him, his dedication, his sympathy, his (always!) professional attitude that turned this trip in an amazing and unforgettable experience. We have donde several family trips together, including other private tours, but nothing compares with Yannis, his suggestions, his company and his great friendship along the way.
In short an absolute great experience, highly recommended to tourists that love to explore the best of Greece with the such special "touch" of local feeling that Yannis share with us.

We took the 6 day tour including Athens, Delphi y Santorini. Most of the experience was wanderful with some ups and downs.
Regarding the drivers: both Spyros and George were amazing. The combination of them both was hilarious: Spyros is the best driver carring for the safety at all times and George is the best photographer & knows all the details regarding Greece vocabulary that adds an extra to the trip.
Regaring the downs that make this a 4 instead of a 5 star trip:
1. We had to pay 100 euro extra for the trip to Santorini as the luggage has not included in the reservation. The tour originally includes a ferry trip to the island but the travel especialist asked us to move it to a flight without extra charge due to the possible sea conditions in these days. The reservation made did not included the bags and in the first flight we had to pay 50 euros. I asked to include the 2 bags in the returning flight as the cost when reporting them 1 day previous would have been only 40 euros however it was not changed and as the reservation was not made by me, I could not change it.
2. The private tour in santorini we made was totally different to the info shared: it did not included the wine museum and wine tasting in which I was especcially interested.
The last suggestion to pass to Cypria hotel in Athens: we were given a room with a really strong smoke smell & with pillows that stinked to cigarrette; when we asked for a change the lady in the reception first made a big show as we made the check Inn 2 hours before; however we did not noticed the pillow smell until we sit on the bed. She finally gave us another room but this kind of details when dealing with customers make the difference.
I hope that the feedback is taken and to be able to come back to greece with this company for a 5 stars trip. Maria Ll.
