He was just wonderful; so thoughtful, generous, kind, and smart. And of course, a very good driver! He went out of his way every day to be sure that he included special things and took the best care of us. Our trip will be forever memorable and we are incredibly grateful to him.

Happy New Year to you as well! Thank you for following up on our Classical Tour of Greece. It was a truly memorable and unique experience, and we enjoyed it greatly. We visited all of the locations in the itinerary as described, and we were very fortunate to have good weather for the large majority of our trip. All of the archaeological sites were fascinating and simply remarkable. Our driver, Mr. Maroulis, was excellent, and we really appreciated his punctuality, friendly nature, and deep knowledge of the country and its rich culture.

The tour was very good and enjoyable. Our driver Niko did everything we asked. That helped a lot as we had two small children so our schedule had to be made to work best for their eating and nap. Nikon’s a safe driver and made sure we could enter and exit the car safely. 

The country scenery is very beautiful and the museum at Thebes is especially well done.

Thank you. Yes, we had a great day.  Nicos arrived on time and was friendly and helpful, and we felt safe at all times while he was driving.  Our guide was excellent.  She is very knowledgeable and we learned a lot from her.  The tour was well-paced.  Overall, excellent.  Thank you very much.

I wish to thank you all for your wonderful organisation of our Greek Tour. 

Every driver was on time and waiting for us and they were all courteous, pleasant and chatty. 

The hotels you chose for us were delightful. The owners in Santorini are just the loveliest family- so friendly, obliging and helpful. 

The hotel Yiannaki, in Mykonos was also lovely and staff were very obliging. If I could offer one criticism, it was the fact that they really were not good with the expected services. As you cannot drink water from the taps, every place we stayed offered free bottled wTer. When we bought water it was very, very cheap. at Yiannaki, they gave us 1 bottle of water and from there on we had to pay 2.5 euros for each bottle. We arrived in the afternoon and were tired and wanted to go to town but didn’t want to walk to the bus stop or worry about finding our way so asked for a taxi. They told us we needed to use the hotel transfer vehicle, which we did. It was only 3 kms into town. We had to pay 15 Euros for the transfer.

Other than that little grumble,( not your fault at all) we want to say we adored our time in Greece, made so smooth and easy by your wonderful organisation.

A great way to experience the many wonders of Ancient Greece.From the moment we were picked up at our hotel we knew this trip was going to be special.  It was indeed a brilliant way to cover a lot of territory in just under a week as Greece has such a vast array of breathtaking places to visit on the mainland, not just the islands. Our first driver took ill and was promptly replaced with another thoroughly dependable fellow who checked with us all the time about where we would stop, and for how long. Hotel accommodation was of a high standard overall with Sparta being the only exception. The office staff at Private Tours Greece were helpful and understanding when we had unavoidable delays with our booking and confirmation at our end. It was truly a pleasure to do business with them. We spent a total of 4 weeks in Greece, the five days and 6 nights of this tour being a very memorable part of our holiday.

I wanted to follow up to share feedback on our trip — truly spectacular!!! Greece is an amazing country full of culture, history, amazing food and unbelievable natural vistas —seas, mountains, valleys. The 5 Day Classical Tour itinerary showcases all of those things. Nikos was the best driver imaginable. He was incredibly helpful, gracious and accommodating to my family and me. He’s friendly and professional. And he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of at every step. If not for your and Nikos’ assistance our final day, we would have been stranded at the port when our boat charter suddenly changed the port at the last minute. We can’t say enough good things about Nikos—we quite literally would have been lost without him. The tour guides were informative and help Greece’s history and archeological sites come to life. While all of our guides were knowledgeable and thoughtful, Katerina was a particularly great storyteller and got my 9 year old son more excited about Greek history and mythology.

I’d be happy to recommend your company to my colleagues and friends looking to visit Greece.

During our month in Greece

After 3 weeks in Greece visiting Athens, Mykonos, Naxos and Santorini we were picked up by Dimitri and our real Greek tour began. Absolutely superior isn’t enough to explain how great our 4 days were. From 4/5 star hotels, to an incredibly knowledgeable guide our tour was the best part of our month in Greece. Every detail was taken care of, with Dimitri providing incredible details of every city, side stops, restaurants and of course shopping.
