I recently had the pleasure of taking the private tour of Athens and Cape Sounio with this tour company, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the tour was incredibly well-organized, and our knowledgeable guide made sure that we saw all of the top historical sites in Athens while also experiencing the stunning beauty of Cape Sounio.

We began the tour with a visit to the Acropolis and the Parthenon, where our guide gave us a fascinating overview of the history and mythology surrounding these ancient sites. We also visited other notable landmarks such as the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Panathenaic Stadium, which was the site of the first modern Olympic Games.

After our time in Athens, we headed to Cape Sounio, a scenic peninsula located on the southernmost tip of Attica. The highlight of this part of the tour was the visit to the Temple of Poseidon, which offered breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. I recently went on a 5-day tour of classical Greece and it was an experience I will never forget. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of the region and made the entire trip so much more interesting. We visited iconic sites such as the Acropolis in Athens, the Temple of Apollo in Delphi, and the ancient city of Olympia & Corfu. Each location was breathtaking and had so much history to explore. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, and the food was delicious. We also had some free time to explore the local towns and markets, which was a nice change of pace. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history and culture of classical Greece. It was a perfect balance of education and relaxation, and I can't wait to visit again

A MUST DO FROM ATHENS

This tour was amazing! Ioannis was so accommodating and took us to some amazing spots during our day trip! He allowed us time to stop for coffee in a charming spot in Corinth and for lunch, he took us to the most amazing, authentic restaurant in Diakoptou. At the Anciety Corinth site, a private guide took us around which was a great surprise. We all wore masks in the vehicle to keep everyone safe! The only suggestion is to not add on the Monastery for the extra 50 Euros, you may not have time because there is so much to see. The Cave of Lakes was amazing and the view from outside was so beautiful. Our day with Ioannis was the highlight of our trip and a must do from Athens!

We really enjoyed the semi-private cruise to Delos & Rhenia beach, it was exactly what we expected and even better! I already recommended to many English tourists and our friends!

Wow, that was a one-of-a kind trip!! I had promised my family to show them the land of my grandparents…..And Private Tours Greece helped me to prepare the perfect trip for them. From the planning of the itinerary to the day-to-day execution everything was followed the way prepared. Our driver George, with its deep knowledge of the area, showed us hidden treasures that evoke childhood memories to me!!

When, we reached Dimitsana village, I burst into tears…..Very strong memories…..Thank you Dimitra and the team for the unforgettable trip. I will never forget it, in my whole life.

6 Day Little Train Tour Package, pass by Natural Paradise of Classical Greece

My husband and I really loved this tour. Being train lovers, we really enjoyed the ride to the small port of Katakolo and the scenery of the Cog railway ride in Kalavryta, but I think that the ride with the old train at Mt. Pelion (“The Smudzy”, right ???) was a block-buster!!!

And all these combined with the classical gems of Epidaurus (I would love to attend an ancient drama play at this theater) and Olympia (running around the ancient Stadium brings you back in time, when money was not rulling the world) not to forget the monasteries in Kalambaka, hanging from the skies!

This is a tour not to be missed. Even if you are not a train lover like us, you will enjoy it from A to Z!!!
