Terms & Conditions

A booking is confirmed once:

• Availability is verified
• Required payment or deposit is received
• A written confirmation voucher is issued
• The booking confirmation constitutes a binding contract between the client and the company.

Tour itineraries are indicative and may be adjusted due to:

• Traffic conditions
• Weather
• Operational requirements
• Port delays
• Road restrictions
• Force majeure

Minor changes to the route, schedule, or order of visits do not constitute grounds for refunds.

Private Tours Greece reserves the right to modify itineraries for safety or operational reasons without reducing the overall quality of the service.

Transportation is provided according to the vehicle category selected during booking.

Vehicle capacity must be respected.

The company reserves the right to substitute the vehicle with an equivalent or superior model if operationally necessary.

Passengers must follow safety instructions. The driver has the right to refuse service to individuals who engage in unsafe, illegal, or disruptive behavior.

Licensed guides are provided when included in the booking. Guide availability is subject to scheduling.

If a guide becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative solution or refund for the guide portion may be offered.

Daily Tours 

• A full refund will be issued for cancellations made up to 7 calendar days prior to the tour departure date and time.
• Cancellations made within 7 calendar days before the service begins will incur a 100% cancellation fee (no refund).
• No refunds will be granted for no-shows or failure to attend the tour at the agreed time and location.
• No refunds apply in cases of late arrival, missed cruise departure coordination, or failure to attend.

Multi-Day Tours

• The 30% deposit is fully refundable in case of written cancellation received at least 40 days prior to the arrival date.
• Cancellations or changes made between 39 and 20 days prior to the arrival date will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the total program cost.
• Cancellations, changes within 19 days prior to arrival, or no-shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Tailor-Made Tours

• Tailor-made packages require personalized planning, research, and preparation.
• In case of cancellation, a service preparation fee of €300 applies to cover administrative and planning work already performed.

Air & Ferry Tickets

• Ferry tickets and flight tickets are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
• Tickets are non-refundable once issued, in accordance with airline and ferry company policies.

Cancellation terms depend on the service type and booking conditions.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to be valid.

No refunds apply for:

• No-shows
• Late arrivals resulting in missed service
• Services already performed
• Specific cancellation conditions are detailed separately for each service category.

Private Tours Greece shall not be liable for failure or delay in service caused by events beyond reasonable control including:

• Natural disasters
• Extreme weather
• Strikes
• Government restrictions
• Pandemics
• Traffic disruptions
• Port or flight delays

In such cases, alternative arrangements or rescheduling may be offered.

The company’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the booked service.

Private Tours Greece is not responsible for:

• Personal injuries caused by client negligence
• Loss or damage of personal belongings
• Delays caused by third parties
• Disruptions outside company control

Private Tours Greece reserves the right to terminate services without refund if a client:

• Violates safety regulations
• Engages in aggressive or disruptive behavior
• Consumes alcohol excessively inside vehicles
• Endangers other participants

Some services may include third-party providers such as:

• Museums
• Restaurants
• Ferry companies
• Hotels
• Attraction operators

Such services are subject to their own terms and conditions.

Private Tours Greece is not responsible for disruptions caused by third-party providers.

Clients are responsible for ensuring valid passports, visas, and travel documentation. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all participants.

If a client misses part or all of the booked service due to late arrival, personal reasons, or failure to follow instructions, no refund will be granted for the unused portion. The company is not responsible for missed activities caused by client delay.

Tours may continue in light rain or normal weather conditions. Severe weather conditions may result in modification, rescheduling, or cancellation of services. Weather-related cancellations do not automatically entitle clients to compensation beyond rescheduling options.

Clients requiring special assistance, wheelchair access, or mobility support must inform the company at the time of booking. Accessibility services are subject to availability and operational feasibility.

The company may capture photos or videos during tours for promotional and marketing purposes. Unless otherwise requested in writing, clients consent to the use of media content that may include group participation. Clients may request removal of identifiable content.

Any complaints regarding service quality must be submitted in writing within 48 hours after service completion. Failure to report issues within this timeframe may limit eligibility for review, compensation, or corrective action.

Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

• If a client initiates a chargeback through their bank or payment provider without first attempting direct communication and resolution with Private Tours Greece, the company reserves the right to submit evidence of service delivery and contest the dispute.
• Services that have been performed are considered fulfilled and non-refundable, regardless of any chargeback filing.
• Clients acknowledge that initiating unauthorized chargebacks without prior communication may result in recovery of administrative fees, legal costs, and payment processing expenses incurred by the company.

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Refund processing time depends on banking institutions and payment providers. Administrative fees may apply where permitted under policy terms.

Clients confirm that they are physically fit to participate in the booked tour. The company is not responsible for medical emergencies that arise from pre-existing conditions.

Certain tours may require a minimum number of participants to operate. If minimum participation is not reached, the company reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the tour with refund or alternative options.

Any special equipment requests (child seats, accessibility tools, special transportation needs) must be requested during booking. Such equipment is subject to availability.

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings and equipment during the tour. Private Tours Greece is not liable for loss, theft, or damage of personal items brought during the service.

Alcohol consumption inside vehicles is prohibited unless explicitly permitted. The company reserves the right to refuse service to individuals under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances without refund.

In the event of pricing errors due to technical or typographical mistakes, the company reserves the right to correct the price and inform the client before confirming the booking. Clients may choose to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the reservation.

Official communication regarding bookings, changes, or cancellations must be conducted via email or authorized communication channels. Verbal agreements are not legally binding unless confirmed in writing.

Use of the company website is subject to acceptance of applicable policies and legal terms. Unauthorized use, data scraping, or misuse of website content is prohibited.

Price Adjustments Due to External Cost Changes

In the event of significant changes in external costs beyond the company’s control — including but not limited to changes in VAT, taxes, entrance fees, transportation costs, fuel prices, ticket prices, or supplier fees — the company reserves the right to adjust the tour price accordingly.

If such adjustments occur after booking confirmation, the client will be informed in writing and may choose to:

• Accept the updated price, or
• Cancel the booking under applicable cancellation policy terms.

All content published on the Private Tours Greece website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, tour descriptions, and marketing material, is protected by copyright law. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of website content without prior written permission is strictly prohibited. The use of photographs, tour descriptions, or branding material for commercial purposes without authorization may result in legal action.

Any dispute arising from bookings or service delivery must first be addressed directly with Private Tours Greece in writing. The company will review the claim and attempt to resolve the matter through direct communication and good faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be governed by the laws of Greece and fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Greek courts. Clients agree to attempt internal resolution before initiating legal proceedings or payment disputes through third-party platforms or banks.

Private Tours Greece reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon publication on the website.
