Location
Day 1: Athens – Vlatades Monastery – Thessaloniki
- Start your day with a pick-up from your Athens hotel and a stop at Thermopylae to admire the statue of Leonidas, commemorating the Battle of the 300. Continue to Thessaloniki to visit the Monastery of Vlatades, perched on the northern side of Ano Poli, the only surviving Byzantine monastery in the city. Inside the church, see the famous “St. Paul’s stone,” marking the spot where the Apostle is believed to have preached. Founded between 1351–1371, by Vlatis, the monastery offers peaceful grounds and panoramic views of the Thermaic Gulf. Cancelation Policy
- In order to confirm any booking, 30% payment in advance is required, fully refundable in case of any written cancellation received 40 days prior the arrival date.
- For any cancellation OR change between 39 days to 20 days prior the first day of arrival, cancellation fees equal to 50% of the total cost of program applies.
- For any cancellation OR change within 19 days prior the first day of arrival and/or non shows, full cancellation fees applies – the total cost of the program.
- A written notification of any cancellation or change is necessary to be sent to PRIVATE TOURS Greece.
