Location
Day 1: Athens - Canal of Corinth - Journey with Cog Railway - Nafplio:
- Start your private driver picks you up at the hotel driving along the mainland coast to Peloponnese. The first marvel awaits at the Canal of Corinth, spanning 6 km in length and reaching an impressive height of 80m. Continuing the adventure, we delve into the historic Ancient Corinth, a cherished city of Saint Paul. Our next stop is "Diakofto," where the enchanting Cog Railway (Odontotos) awaits, connecting Kalavrita and Diakopto through the breathtaking Vouraikos Canyon. Renowned as one of the most beautiful train trips in the Balkans, it meanders through streams, tunnels, waterfalls, cliffs, and pine-forested mountains. Concluding the rail journey, your driver awaits in Kalavryta to lead you to the awe-inspiring "Cave of the Lakes." This natural wonder boasts 13 lakes, each adorned with unique colors, created by the oxides in the rocks. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the hanging bridge and waterfalls, offering the illusion of a floating corridor. Your memorable day concludes with an overnight stay in Nafplio
Day 2: Nafplio - Mycenae - Epidaurus - Olympia
- After your breakfast, you will have time to visit either Palamidi castle, which you can reach by climbing 999 steps (!), or to take a small boat and visit ''Bourtzi',' the fortress at the entrance of the harbor. Then, we will leave for Epidaurus and we will visit the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, famous for the breathtaking acoustics that is still functioning today! After this, we will head back to Nafplio to have lunch (optional), and then we will leave for the famous ancient town of Mycenae and the Archaeological site - the Lion Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, the Royal Palace and the tomb of Agamemnon. Finally we will reach at Ancient Olympia for Overnight.
Day 3: Ancient Olympia - Honey, Olive Oil and Food Tasting - Delphi
- After your breakfast, we will visit the archaeological site of Ancient Olympia, where the first Olympic Games took place in 776 B.C. The temple of Zeus is located there which is the most celebrated sanctuary of ancient Greece. Dedicated to Zeus, in which in antiquity was hosted one of the 7 wonders of the Ancient world. You will also visit the temple of Hera, the shrine of Pelops (one of the oldest in the sanctuary), the Council house where the athletes took the Olympic oath, the Treasury houses, the Gymnasium and the Palestra where they used to exercise for a month prior to the Games. We will visit a local honey farm, where under the shade of the trees we will have a coffee / juice and the flea market to taste delightful experience of free wine and olive oil tasting, savoring the distinct blends of olive oil and the iconic Greek olives. Leaving Ancient Olympia, we will cross over the amazing bridge of Rion – Antirion, one of the biggest bridges in Europe. we will reach in Delphi for overnight.
Day 4: Delphi - Meteora - Sunset Tour around the Rocks
- After your breakfast, our driver will drive you at the Ancient Oracle, the Stadium, the Ancient Theatre, with a capacity that exceeds 5,000 spectators and of course the Museum of Delphi. Delphi is perhaps best known for the oracle at the sanctuary that was dedicated to Apollo during the classical period. Following your Delphi visit, you'll journey to Arachova, a charming town celebrated for its traditional architecture and scenic vistas. Enjoy free time for town exploration, lunch at a local taverna, and optional shopping. In the late afternoon, proceed to Kalambaka, the gateway to Meteora monasteries. As evening descends, witness the enchanting sunset over the rugged cliffs, absorbing the unique energy of this untamed landscape. Overnight in Meteora.
Day 5: Meteora - Thermopiles - Athens
- Visit Meteora enjoying a unique and implosive scenery of ageless monasteries, containing priceless historical and religious treasures, standing between Earth and Sky atop huge rocks. We are going to visit the first great monastery of Varlaam, (or Grand Meteoro) founded on the 16th century and located on the top of a rock at 380m height! Our second visit will be at the Monastery of St. Stephan, of the 15th century, also built on the top of the top of another huge rock where you will admire a small treasure of Byzantine and Christian items at the museum inside the monastery! Return to Athens with a short stop at Thermopiles where the statue of Leonidas is on display as a memorial of the battle of the 300 Spartans. Overnight in Athens
Day 6: Private Tour Athens - Acropolis, Parthenon - Temple of Zeus

Acropolis and Museum. Meet your licensed tour guide in Acropolis to start an amazing guided tour in Acropolis & Parthenon built during the Golden Age of Pericles. Continue the pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysus Theater, to visit the new Museum of Acropolis. There we will admire the artifacts and sculptures originating from the numerous Acropolis buildings.
Panoramic city tour with our driver to the most Athens’s iconic landmarks. We will visit Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times took place in 1896. It is the only stadium built out of white marble. Proceeding, we will visit Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Athens Trilogy, Hadrian’s Arch, etc.
At the end, our driver will transfer you back to your hotel, or we suggest leaving you at plaka area to spend some time exploring the area to admire the Greek culture, with its narrow streets full of old mansions, and enjoy tasting the famous Greek souvlaki. Day 7: Athens - Santorini
- Our driver meet you at your hotel to transfer you at Piraeus port to get the ferry to reach in Santorini. Santorini is stunningly beautiful and is the destination that you won't must to miss, because the houses is built up on the rim of volcano that is a unique landscape of the world.One of the top things to do while here is enjoy the sunset via a cruise tour. The tour continues in Emporio Village, one of Santorini's oldest villages, where you’ll stroll through narrow alleys and whitewashed houses. At Perissa Beach, unwind on the black sand and enjoy the sea. You’ll then ascend to the Prophet Elias Monastery, the island's highest point, for sweeping panoramic views. Moving on, capture iconic photos at the Blue Dome in Firostefani, with vistas of the caldera and sea. Cancelation Policy
- In order to confirm any booking, 30% payment in advance is required, fully refundable in case of any written cancellation received 40 days prior the arrival date.
- For any cancellation OR change between 40 days to 20 days prior the first day of arrival, cancellation fees equal to 50% of the total cost of program applies.
- For any cancellation OR change within 19 days prior the first day of arrival and/or non shows, full cancellation fees applies – the total cost of the program.
- A written notification of any cancellation or change is necessary to be sent to PRIVATE TOURS Greece.
